Time for change
September 1st, 2010Over the last 3 years our focus at Scrapbook Central has really changed. Our Design Team’s dedication to the production of Page Kits and Mini Album Kits has increased tremendously. And the preparation of these kits is extremely time consuming and requires a large amount of space. My goal for the future is to sell our kits online. They are so popular that I am already shipping them to many customers. With that in mind, I have to make a few changes to the membership program and store policies.
I love our store in every way- the “vintage country” feel that welcomes all customers into the store. The nooks and crannies that display all our product lines and the small tables and crates that are dimmly lit by lamps that are home to our many embellishments. Our only downfall… limited workshop space. As our workshop has now become the production area for our many ongoing kits and the unpacking and pricing of the fabulous new product that continually arrives, it is no longer available for drop-in customers for cropping.
With that being said, there is an upside to these changes. Memberships are a thing of the past and are no longer available; however, customers will no longer require a membership to receive the $5.00 discount on all classes. What’s posted as the class fee is what the class costs - no additional fees if you are not a member. As well, all customers will be able to take advantage of a 15% off discount if they shop on their birthday provided they shop on their actual birthday or the day before or the day after (just in case you cannot make it on the specific day - you have 3 days to come in and enjoy the savings.) Identification required! Also all class sign up fees of $15.00 and the kits fees will directly go toward your regular stamp card.
We are offering a more specific regular selection of classes in the workshop for those of you that enjoy attending the monthly classes. You will just have to excuse the mess as we have limited storage available and many of our projects may end up on the floor to make room for a class.
Please also remember that we host 2 Ultimate Scrapbook Weekends each year at Cypress Park Resort in Cypress Hills, SK. That’s a perfect time to get away with your girlfriends and scrapbook all weekend long. Click on the Class calendar for upcoming dates.
Thank-you for your understanding. We greatly appreciate your business and are always trying to improve on what we do.
